Kylie Minogue ‘to Marry’ Her Spanish Toyboy Andrs Velencoso

Frequently unfortunate in love during the past, Kylie Minogue may eventually enjoy a reversal of fortune. Buddies of the pop star’s Spanish beau, Andrs Velencoso, say that he intended to propose to her this summer, while her spokesperson refuses to reject the couple could already be anonymously engaged. “Andrs claimed he wants to wed Kylie and would ask her this summer,” claims a buddy of the 32-year-old model.
The crooner, 42, whose hits include Can’t Get You Out of My Head and I deserve to be so fortunate, took Velencoso to meet her elders in Melbourne in July after her sister, the TV character Dannii Minogue, gave birth to her first kid. Kylie, who was treated successfully for breast cancer in 2005, admitted lately she had been feeling broody. Last month, the previous Neighbors actress, referred, jokingly, to the Spaniard as her “husband”. When Velencoso, who has courted her for two years, was questioned about wedding in May, he answered : “Why not? We are in it for the long stretch. We are doing truly well.” In an indication of his attention, he allegedly had the singer’s name tattooed slightly under his hip. Minogue’s speaker will say only : “the tale is simply a rumour.”

Beyonce Goes Back To The Eighties

Beyonce goes back to the Eighties with wild kinky hair and ripped T-shirt she has known for her graceful style and polished image. But Beyonce Knowles seemed as if she had stepped straight out of the 80s as she left a club in N. Y yesterday. The tousled frontman wore her hair wavy and loose in a bouffant style.
Her cropped, loose T-shirt disclosed her toned stomach, while her ripped cut-off jeans were straight out of a vintage Madonna video. The 28-year-old had partied the night away with her partner Jay Z, who drove the couple home in their white 4×4 Jeep. Joining them for the party to mark Avenue club’s first year, was Beyonce’s younger sister Solange, who seemed like she had co-ordinated their outfits. Solange, twenty-four, wore her hair in an equally outlandish style - a giant Afro.
She teamed it with a flattering pink jersey dress and taupe heels. Both Jay Z and Beyonce looked disinterested about reports he’s being sued for failing to pay his bill to be used of a personal jet. The hiphop star is alleged to owe $137,485 to personal jet company Air Platinum Holding, which claims he used fifty five hours of airtime, but only paid for 37 hours. The rate incorporates a discount for the star.

Kelis Thrills Crowd At Elle ‘Women In Music’ Party

The most important surprise at Elle magazine’s very first ” Girls In Music ” event was a performance by none aside from the first Lady Jam , Patti LaBelle.
After she hit the stage, everybody attending right away pushed to the front of the Highline Ballroom’s stage.
Elle arranged the smack to celebrate their July issue, which features Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Ke$ha, Christina Aguilera and Paramore frontman Hayley Williams. “all of them look, and all of them express different things with their look, ” explained Elle Editor-In-Chief Roberta Myers. “It’s where performance and art and fashion come together.
“When we found out we were going to be in the issue, I suspect many of us screamed, ” exclaimed Elizabeth “Z ” Berg, frontwoman for California strum-poppers the Like. “I believe after we probably did the photograph shoot, [bandmate and organist] Annie [Monroe] sat in the auto for ten mins saying, ‘Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God!’ ” The Like got the party started by performing 4 songs from their approaching album Release Me, including “Wishing He Was Dead, ” “Release Me,” and “he is not a Boy. ” But the headliner for the evening was the milkshaker herself, Kelis, who also will be featured in the July issue. Wearing a floral-checked dress, the Grammy-nominated vocalist pumped up the group by performing “Trick Me, ” a remix of Milkshake ” ( which got mashed up with Madonna’s “Holiday” ) and Kelis’ song of the summer “Acapella, ” together with 2 other tracks from her impending 5th album Flesh Tone. Also at the star-rich event were Whitney Port, Olivia Palermo and Roxy Olin from “The Town ” together with fashion designer Catherine Malandrino, rapper Fabolous and emerging artist Alexis Jordan

Kanye West Absented from Music Videos Award

Kanye West, nominated for nine BET music videos Award, was absent from this year’s show.

When Taylor Swift approached the stage on the night of the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs), Kanye West swept in to steal the show. Grabbing the microphone out of her hands, he told the crowd, “I’m sorry, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time.” Ouch.

After his public rant on the unsuspecting Swift, he later apologized telling the public of his plan to take some time out of the lime light. Many doubted the star’s sincerity. But when it was his turn for some recognition, he was not there.

At Saturday’s 4th annual BET Awards, Kanye was nominated for nine awards, among them best live performer. But when show time came around, the rapper was nowhere to be found.

Also absent from the celebration was T.I., who is currently in an Arkansas prison under federal weapons charges. T.I. was nominated for six awards and walked away the recipient of two, including Album of the Year.

In the aftermath of his interruption of Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech at the VMAs last month, Kanye West told Jay Leno that he planned to take some time off.

And in the weeks since that statement, his Fame Kills Tour with Lady Gaga was canceled, he didn’t appear this weekend at the 2009 BET Hip-Hop Awards, and he’s been relatively quiet as his latest protégé, Kid Cudi, promotes his recently released debut album.

Kanye has been posting his usual photos of things he’s interested in on his blog, but apart from a post about Derrion Albert’s murder in Chicago and one about Nabil Elderkin’s forthcoming photo book of Kanye’s Glow in the Dark Tour, he hasn’t spoken much there, either.

Brazilian Music Rank

Brazil has the Amazon, the world’s largest rainforest and river; Brazil has the Iguassu Falls, the biggest waterfalls in the world; Brazil has the Pantanal, the hugest concentration of wild life in America; Brazil has the longest tropical beach coast in the world, with internationally unknown paradisiacal beaches. Brazil has the biggest popular street festival in the world (the Carnival)…

Those are objective and statistically verifiable phenomena. But I would dare to add another one: Brazil also has the world’s most genuine set of musical traditions and expressions.

An assertion too bold?

Undoubtedly. And a risky one, too… I should explain myself better. I do not contest the dominance of anglo-american music, or the prominence of some higher expressions of it. I accept that. In a certain sense, if compared to north-american music, brazilian music is just a minor player in the world music panorama.

When I place the Brazilian music at the top of the world rank, I am selecting some particular expressions of it. And I am considering the way Brazilians live their music and express it.

Brazilians love music, with an intensity unknown elsewhere. In places like Salvador da Bahia the music and dance are a regular popular explosion. Until midnight on certain days of the long summer, the music doesn’t stop, with people and vendors mixing with bands and street musicians everywhere. For Bahianos (the inhabitants of Bahia) and Cariocas (the inhabitants of Rio) any occasion is suited for music.

You may ask: and the creativity, and the artistic themes? Where are the higher expressions of that music? Do they exist?

Surely. And by that I am not pointing to some major samba themes (there are major samba themes), or to the Bossa Nova of forty or fifty years ago. I mean present day music, top quality in the world (though not necessarily at the commercial top).

Some of the present day brazilian music is highly elaborated, demanding attention, with lyrics having a very broad importance (its lower international visibility is due to the language in which it is expressed: Portuguese).

There are plenty of new highly inventive brazilian composers and performers. And Brazilians love their musicians and composers. They are their gods. Gods with names like Maria Bethania, Gal Costa, Ivan Lins, Ivete Sangalo, Elis Regina, Djavan, Daniela Mercury, Elba Ramalho, Marisa Monte, Milton Nascimento, Rita Lee, Adriana Calcanhoto…

PsP Music - Choosing a good site

PsP handhelds are one of the newest and most fun ways to play games, watch movies and listen to music. PsP music downloads PsP movies downloads are just some things that you can do on your psp besides just games. PsP Music is fun and easy to download.

There are many places on the net were one can find places for psp music downloads and psp movie downloads. Some sites have you pay per song or movie, and sometimes charge up to a couple dollars for each download. Other sites require a membership and a monthly fee were the members share files. This method sometimes can be frustrating when you are in the middle of a download and the user signs off before the download is complete.

I prefer to use sites that have a onetime membership for psp music, psp movie, psp games and psp software downloads. The best sites have their databases jammed pack with over a million songs, movies, games, and software available for downloading. Some of these sites have no limit to the amount of downloads you do per day.

There are a few sites were the database does not have quality psp movies and psp music downloads and they might be very slow to download. I have placed a link at the top of this site for a one that has quality psp music, psp movies, psp games and software downloads. You may want to check it out.

Once you have downloaded some psp music, movies and games you can take them anywhere you go. This is great when you have places to go or have long travel times to get somewhere. It really helps to pass the time away while your having fun either listening to psp music or watching a psp movie or just playing a new game. There are so many games available. You should never run out of games to play music to listen to and movies to watch.

Make sure that what ever site you choose, comes with a money back guarantee in case your not satisfied with their database of music songs games and software. I have been using the above site for over three months and never had the need to ask for my money back. I now have so many psp movies, psp music and games downloaded that I often find it hard to decide which game to play, song to listen to, or movie to watch. If you’re wise and make the right choice you will be having fun all day long with your psp.
